In March 1961, Ben Westfall fulfilled his boyhood dream of becoming an auctioneer when he attended auction college at Mason City, Iowa. While working from his home on a part time basis he was able to hold down a night time job to support his then family of four. Shortly there-after he obtained his real estate sales license, and later his real estate Broker's license. From those humble beginnings, the company has grown into one of the premier real estate and auction firms in Northwest Ohio.

Ben and his wife Jan's attention to satisfy the needs and desires of the client and to updating support equipment has helped to establish the company as a trailblazer in the industry. The addition of a customized mobile office and auction truck topper complete with built-in sound system in the mid 80's and the recent addition of a computerized radio transmitted remote clerking system are just a few of the innovation additions that the company was first in the area to implement. In addition Ben's contributions to the Ohio Auctioneers Association as President, V. President and Director have been instrumental in promoting the auction method of marketing throughout the State of Ohio. Ben is also a past President and Director of the NW Ohio Board of Realtors and served as trustee to the Ohio and National Realtor Associations in excess of 10 years.

Eldest son Bart joined the company in 1980 after attending the same auction college just 20 years after his father. Bart became an auctioneer, real estate salesman and shortly thereafter added his real estate Broker's license and appraisers license. He has worked full time since joining the company and has became a very accomplished Auctioneer, Realtor and Appraiser.

Youngest son Kevin joined the company in 1994 after receiving a degree in Real Estate Technology and Finance from the University of Toledo. He spent some time as a loan officer and bank manager for the Farmers & Merchants State Bank and the National Bank of Montpelier and has rejoined the company as real estate sales manager and appraiser. Kevin also received his real estate Broker's license with the company and has turned out to be a very dedicated and accomplished Realtor.
